Das Motiv der Geishas auf einem Steg wurde ursprünglich für den Wellnessbereich des Kreuzfahrtschiffs Aida Blue entworfen und als filigrane Laubsägearbeit hinter einer Posterlandschaft in einem Ruheraum installiert.
Für ein Restaurant im Wabi-Sabi-Stil wurde die Szene neu interpretiert. Wassertragende und schöpfende Geisha-Figuren verleihen dem Raum Ruhe und Harmonie. Man kann sich die Figuren als Relief oder als Intarsienarbeit an der Wand vorstellen. Farbige Glasfenster trennen den Raum sanft von der Außenwelt, verändern die Lichtstimmung und schaffen eine besonders intime, einladende Atmosphäre.
