Fächer ist das erste Motiv für ein großes Karreetuch, das ich für Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer entworfen habe. Es markiert den Auftakt zur Arbeit an den Artist Editions von Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer und wurde zum Signet für die Seidentuchmanufaktur. So findet man den Fächer der schwarzen Handschuhe entweder klein in einer Ecke oder versteckt im Muster auf jedem Exemplar der Artist Editions. Auf dem quadratischen Tuch finden sich vier der Fächer, wobei eine Hand bis zum Mittelpunkt des Tuches verlängert ist und so die Symmetrie auflöst.
Aus den gleichen Elementen entstand später der Schal Umarmung. Beide Enden dieses Schals ziert ebenfalls der Handschuhfächer, und auch hier verselbständigt sich eine Hand. Sie hält in der Mitte des Schals eine zarte Spitzenverzierung.

Fächer (Fan) is the first design for a large square scarf that I created for Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer. It marks the beginning of the Artist Editions by Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer and became the emblem of the silk scarf manufactory. The Fan of the Black Gloves can therefore be found, either small in a corner or hidden within the pattern, on every single piece of the Artist Editions. On the square scarf, four of the fans are depicted, with one hand extending toward the center of the scarf, breaking up the symmetry.
From the same elements, the scarf Umarmung (Embrace) was later created. Both ends of this scarf are also adorned with the glove fan, and once again one hand takes on a life of its own. In this case, it holds a delicate lace ornament at the center of the scarf.
