Ein Tuch für das Team am Empfang

Ein Luxemburger Bankhaus ließ mir für diesen Auftrag freie Hand bei der Gestaltung dieser Personal Edition handbedruckter Seidentücher, die als Ausstattung für das Team am Empfang gedacht ist.
Das Logo in Form eines Schlüssels mit einem Farbverlauf in Blautönen war der Ausgangspunkt für das Design. Zusammen mit dem Unternehmen wurde der dunkelste Ton im Farbverlauf als Druckfarbe gewählt. Aus einer Auswahl von Seidenstoffen in Weißtönen wurde vom Auftraggeber eine ganz leicht abgetönte weiße Crêpe-Satin-Seide als Material gewählt.
Die Idee, aus der Form des Unternehmenslogos ein abstraktes Schlüssel-Schloss-Muster als Symbol für den Sicherheitsgedanken im Selbstverständnis der Bank zu erarbeiten, kam schnell und wurde im Handsiebdruck in einer kleinen, exklusiven Auflage von 20 Exemplaren umgesetzt.

A Scarf for the Reception Team

A Luxembourg-based bank gave me complete freedom in designing this personal edition of hand-printed silk scarves, intended as part of the reception team’s attire.
The logo, in the shape of a key with a gradient in shades of blue, served as the starting point for the design. Together with the company, the darkest tone in the gradient was chosen as the print color. From a selection of white-toned silks, the client decided on a subtly tinted white crêpe satin silk as the material.

The idea of developing an abstract key-and-lock pattern from the shape of the company logo—as a symbol of the security ethos embedded in the bank’s identity—emerged quickly and was realized through hand screen printing in a small, exclusive edition of 20 pieces.
