Bei Kleiner Ball ist das Motiv des Handschuhfächers als individuelle Wandgestaltung für einen Wellnessbereich ausgearbeitet.

Der Handschuhfächer ist ursprünglich das Signet der Seidentuchmanufaktur Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer und schmückt beispielsweise beide Enden des Seidenschals Umarmungen.

Für diese Arbeit habe ich das Motiv an einer Wand in zwei Szenen arrangiert:
In der ersten Szene balanciert ein kleiner roter Ball auf den Fingerspitzen einer Hand des Fächers. Das Bild lädt dazu ein, weiterzudenken – wie der Ball vielleicht von einer Hand zur nächsten weitergegeben wird.

In der zweiten Szene, weiter unten, schwingt sich eine Hand an einer Schnur hinüber zu einer anderen, die eine zarte Spitzenverzierung hält. Sie scheint die filigrane Spitze erreichen und berühren zu wollen.

Ein verspieltes, poetisches Motiv, das sich als Wandmalerei, Tapete oder Halbrelief umsetzen lässt.

Small Ball – An Artistic Wall Concept for a Room of Calm

In Small Ball, the motif of the Glove Fan has been developed as a custom wall design for a wellness area.
The Glove Fan originally serves as the signature of the silk scarf manufactory Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer and, for example, adorns both ends of the silk scarf Umarmungen.

For this work, I arranged the motif on a wall in two scenes:
In the first scene, a small red ball balances on the fingertips of one of the fan’s hands. The image invites the viewer to imagine the ball being passed from one hand to another.

In the second scene, further down, a hand swings along a cord toward another hand holding a delicate lace ornament. It seems as if it wants to reach and touch the filigree lace.

A playful, poetic motif that can be realized as a wall painting, wallpaper, or bas-relief.
