I proudly present:
Meine mexikanischen Freunde Lucia Aumann und Pablo Kobayashi hatten diesen Sommer ein Aufenthaltsstipendium im Kunstraum platform in Vaasa, Finnland. Ihr Projekt und ihre folgende Ausstellung hießen Oximoron.
Die beiden Künstler schufen einen farbenfrohen Raum-im-Raumes, aus Luft und Stoff, der in kleinen Gruppen betreten werden konnte.
Zur Eröffnung trug Pablo ein langes, rechteckiges Oblong-Shirt und Lucia ein langes, rechteckiges Oblong-Seidenkleid, die aus meinem Atelier stammen.
Ich liebe es, meine Freunde so zu sehen – denn auf diese Weise war ein Stück von mir ebenfalls bei der Eröffnung präsent.

Friends wearing Oblongs

I proudly present:
My dear mexican friends Lucia Aumann and Pablo Kobayashi had a residency stay at the art space Platform in Vaasa, Finland, this summer. Their project and exhibition were called „Oximoron“.
The artists created a colorful space within a space, made of air and fabric, which could be entered in small groups.
At the opening, Pablo wore a oblong shirt and Lucia a long oblong silk dress made by me.
I love seeing my friends like this – a piece of me was also present at the opening.
