Lebhaftes Gezwitscher auf dem Seidentuch
Das Motiv Birdies für eine Seidentuch-Edition von Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer passt mit seinen Anleihen aus der Volkskunst in die sächsische Weihnachtszeit, kann aber thematisch auch (als kleine Aussicht auf hellere Tage) Begleiter in den Frühling sein.
Auch bei diesem Tuch aus der Seidentuchmanufaktur wurde hochwertige Crêpe-Satin-Seide von Hand bedruckt und in Dresden zugeschnitten und umsäumt. Das Tuch wird in einer Edition von nur 20 Stück hergestellt.
Birdies meint Vögelchen oder Zwitschern. Man hört sie förmlich pfeifen, die kleinen Gesellen, die auf diesem Schal umherfliegen und quadratische Formen von Ast zu Ast transportieren, um damit den Baum zu schmücken. Das Muster ist aus Klöppelspitzen aus dem Erzgebirge zusammengesetzt. Man kann die textile Struktur als Vorlage erahnen.
Zurzeit ist das Tuch noch im SHOP oder bei einem Besuch im Atelier erhältlich.

Lively Chirping on Silk
The Birdies motif for the silk scarf edition by Tuchdruck Jonas & Claußnitzer fits perfectly into the Saxon Christmas season with its references to folk art, yet it can also serve as a companion into spring — a little glimpse of brighter days ahead.
As with every scarf from this silk manufactory, high-quality crêpe satin silk has been hand-printed, cut, and hemmed in Dresden. The scarf is produced in a limited edition of only 20 pieces.
Birdies means little birds or chirping. You can almost hear them whistle — the small fellows fluttering about the scarf, carrying square shapes from branch to branch to decorate the tree. The pattern is composed of lace designs from the Ore Mountains, with the textile structure still faintly visible as its template.
At present, the scarf is still available in the SHOP or by visiting the studio.
