Design with content

I create artistic surface designs and visual concepts for spaces, products, and brands. In my work and thinking, I combine art, design, and craftsmanship, turning creative ideas into compelling implementations.
My work supports, for example, the corporate identity of a company by making the visual appearance a theme. Whether in architecture or in spaces such as reception areas and meeting and conference rooms, I begin with the approach of creating a distinctive image that sets a company apart in the market, especially in today's world.

Experience and approach

With a background in fine arts, stonemasonry, and textile design, I bring both creative intuition and technical understanding to every project. And experience with galleries and projects in the private sector has shown me how artistic visions can be reconciled with practical and economic goals.

Collaboration and materials

I greatly appreciate working with experienced craftsmen and manufacturers, as it allows me to implement designs in a wide variety of materials: from textiles and glass to wood, tiles, and printed surfaces. Each piece is developed for its specific context—be it for private interiors, commercial spaces, or unique products that are intended to take on emotional significance beyond their function.

Focus

Under the name bybrittajonas, I work with clients and companies who value individuality, quality, and nuanced visual content. Together, we transform concepts into timeless designs.

The Story Within

I value the individuality of my designs. Clear figurative motifs meet abstract, ornamental forms with gently dissolving symmetry. Each piece holds a subtle narrative – drawn with fine lines or silhouettes – revealed only on second glance, quietly present without demanding attention.

The Things We Keep

Some objects go beyond function — they soothe, inspire, or comfort. I aim to create such pieces: lasting, personal, and meaningful. Thoughtfully designed, they invite connection and become cherished gestures — to keep, use, give, or pass on.

Silk as Canvas

One of my particular focuses is screen printing on silk, my primary material. This technique is ideal for creating small, exclusive editions. I produce hand-printed silk scarves and cloths, both as original creations and custom commissions for clients.

New ideas emerge through dialogue

I look forward to hearing from you—whether it's about collaborations, project inquiries, or initial ideas. Let's get started together.
